“البيئة” توقع عقد استثمار أول مدينة للبن في المملكة
برعاية معالي وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة المهندس عبد الرحمن الفضلي، وقعت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة مع الجمعية التعاونية الزراعية ببلجرشي، عقد استثمار أول مدينة للبن في المملكة، ولمدة 15 عاماً، بحضور وكيل الوزارة للزراعة المهندس أحمد العيادة و وكيل الوزارة للشؤون الاقتصادية والتخصيص عبد الرحمن الزغيبي، ورئيس الجمعية التعاونية الزراعية ببلجرشي عبد الله الغامدي وعدد من قيادات الوزارة
وأوضحت الوزارة أن هذه الخطوة تهدف إلى تحقيق الاكتفاء من المنتجات والمحاصيل الزراعية، وتشجيع حركة الاستثمار الزراعي، وتنمية الغطاء النباتي، وإيجاد فرص وظيفية لأهالي المنطقة، وتعزيز دور الجمعيات التعاونية في المملكة. ويتضمن زراعة 300 ألف شتلة بن عربي، بالإضافة إلى زراعة أشجار رمان ذات إنتاجية عالية ومناسبة للموقع.
وبيَّنت “البيئة” أن موقع المدينة سيكون في قرية معشوقة بمحافظة القرى التابعة لمنطقة الباحة، وبمساحة تبلغ 1,662,373م2، مشيرة إلى أن المشروع سيشتمل على: مزرعة نموذجية، وتنفيذ مشتل حديث متكامل لزراعة شتلات البن، وإنشاء مركز صناعي يضم ورشاً ومخازن، ومركز للأعمال يحتوي على خدمات وسكن الضيافة ومركز للتدريب، إضافة إلى مبنى لطاقم الحراسة، وسكن خاص بالعاملين، ومكاتب إدارية وتحكم، إلى جانب بناء سور حول المدينة ومسجد.
يُذكر أن وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة تعمل على تطوير إنتاج وتصنيع وتسويق البن العربي ، وتعد مناطق جازان والباحة وعسير من أهم المناطق وأكثرها زراعة للبن في المملكة.
